It all started with a small beginning: the Art Pray Love class. And then, there was the
dream.
What would it look like if we could capture the essence of what we are doing in a
creative cookbook? We wanted to inspire others to create their own art grounded in
scripture, around kitchen tables, in women’s classes, or perhaps one day expanding
into retreats.
It always starts with a dream, and a dream is a seed waiting to be planted. For us,
bringing that seed to life meant taking nine mixed-media projects and reconstructing
them into clear, step-by-step instructions. It meant a mountain of writing and revising,
adding pro tips and sacred reflections, playing with colors and layouts, and learning to
navigate the whole world of self-publishing through Amazon KDP.
Some days, that mountain felt a little too high. We just had to remind ourselves: How do
you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. (Or, in our case, one QR code, SEO keyword,
and ISBN at a time!)
Well, two years later, countless revisions, and a whole lot of shared persistence, we
have officially crossed the finish line. Our dream took root and has blossomed. Today,
our book is live and published on Amazon!
It is truly a moment to celebrate and offer up hearts of gratefulness for a
dream come true.
A Prayer for the Journey
Dear Lord, You are not only the Dream Giver, You are the Waymaker. When You plant
the seeds of dreams in our hearts, give us the courage and perseverance to nurture,
water, and grow them. We trust that You will bring the harvest. Amen.
